Welcome to Wrex Ride, part of the Wxm Exec Travel and Minibus Ltd group.

By downloading, registering, or using the Wrex Ride app, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking or taking a journey.

1. About Us

Wrex Ride is a locally run, app-based private hire booking platform operated by Wxm Exec Travel and Minibus Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

We connect passengers with licensed, self-employed private hire drivers in Wrexham and the surrounding areas.

2. How Wrex Ride Works

Wrex Ride provides a mobile app that allows you to:

Book private hire journeys quickly and easily

See estimated fares and track your driver

Pay securely through the app

When you book a trip, you are entering into two agreements:

1. A booking service agreement with Wrex Ride (we handle the booking and payment process).

2. A transport service agreement with the self-employed driver who carries out your journey.

3. Driver Licensing & Safety

All Wrex Ride drivers are:

Fully licensed private hire drivers

DBS-checked and vetted by Wrex Ride

Required to maintain valid insurance, vehicle licensing, and safety standards

You can see driver details before your journey, and you can rate your driver afterwards to help maintain service quality.

4. Booking and Payments

All bookings must be made through the Wrex Ride app.

We do not accept bookings by phone, email, or in person.

Payment is taken securely via the app using your registered card or wallet.

You’ll receive a receipt automatically after each trip.

Fares are based on time, distance, and local demand.

Prices shown before confirming your trip are estimates; final fares may vary slightly depending on the exact route and timing.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

You can cancel a booking in the app before a driver has been dispatched at no charge.

If you cancel after a driver has accepted or is en route, a cancellation fee may apply.

If a driver cancels, you will not be charged.

Refunds (if applicable) are processed automatically to your original payment method.

6. Conduct and Behaviour

We ask all users to treat drivers with respect and vice versa.

You must not:

Use abusive, threatening, or discriminatory language

Damage or dirty a vehicle

Attempt to book rides under false information

Drivers reserve the right to refuse a journey if they feel unsafe or threatened.

7. Safety and Responsibility

Your safety is our top priority.

You can track your trip in real time and share it with family or friends.

Please ensure children or vulnerable passengers are booked and supervised appropriately.

Seatbelts must be worn at all times.

Wrex Ride is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in vehicles.

8. Liability

Wrex Ride provides the booking platform; each driver is responsible for the transport service they provide.

We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or incidents arising from driver conduct or road conditions.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for any other matter which cannot legally be excluded.
